Hopelessly Devoted to a World of Knitted Creations

Designs by Donna WilsonThis is an exciting year for designer Donna Wilson as 2013 marks the 10th Anniversary of the company that she started whilst making odd knitted creatures for her final show at the Royal College of Art.  Back then she never imagined in her wildest dreams that she would be making weird knitted creatures for a living, but the business has grown into an established brand with a devoted cult following.

Creatures and designs by Donna WilsonOriginally from Scotland, Donna runs a studio and workshop in London. Her hardworking team knit, sew, pack and send out products to individuals and design shops around the world. Her colourful knitted designs have featured in numerous international publications and appeared in exhibitions at Somerset House, The Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The British Embassy.

Despite her success, she has been able to maintain a niche appeal and has a devoted cult following of design enthusiasts, collectors and the young at heart. As a forerunner of the contemporary craft movement, Donna has always remained true to her principles, using traditional techniques and UK-based suppliers wherever possible, helping to support Britain’s dwindling manufacturing trades.

Who's been sitting in my chair? by Donna WilsonDonna’s new Autumn Winter collection, available from September, builds on her popular line of knitted homewares and cosy accessories with some new themes and fresh colour-ways.
