Bringing a contemporary twist to vintage style with pop-art and 50’s inspired scarves is Tessuti, one of the makers of the month at Edinburgh’s Concrete Wardrobe in November.
Hand silk screened on Scottish cashmere, lambswool and silk, the collection of scarves, mufflers, arm warmers and ties by designer Fiona McIntosh is influenced by iconic graphic symbols of the fifties and sixties pop-art.
Using vintage colours of russet, chocolate brown, charcoal, green, ochre and sky, each softly textured hand screened garment is unique, and ideal as gifts for fashionistas and art enthusiasts.
Her collection is available at Concrete Wardrobe in Edinburgh, where she is maker of the month in November alongside weaver James Donald of PickOne.
